James Hunting is Course Leader for the RSN's two year Foundation Degree in Hand Embroidery. He is an experienced hand embroiderer having spent 20 years working in the fashion world before entering education. He is an exhibiting artist and has recently completed his Masters in 'Stitch as a mark making act'.
James's courses combine traditional stitches with techniques to make work that involves an emotional response to an external inspiration rather than concentrating on pure technical excellence.
