Class Date: Sunday 9 December 2018
This introduction class will introduce students to the basic elements of Raised Embroidery necessary to make this festive 3D mistletoe sprig brooch. The stem will be created from cotton perle wrapped wire, the two leaves made of wired needlelace, the berries will be silk ribbon wrapped. A red silk ribbon will be added at the end.
The kit will also include a small brooch pin that can be attached at the end, although this optional.
The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
This class will run from 10am-4pm at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9AU.
