Description
Designed by Jay Hooper for Appletons Wool and suitable for experienced stitchers
Michaelmas – the feast of St Michael and All Angels – was traditionally celebrated in September as the start of the farming year. A feast of a goose was deemed to spell prosperity for the coming months.
Our take on the Michaelmas Goose combines that history with a beautiful, intricate and brightly coloured goose on a linen fabric. Suitable for experienced needleworkers, it consists of a variety of embroidery stitches to create a textured and vibrant image measuring 32 x 32cm.
Containing all required wool, wire, felt, needles and linen fabric (and the bead used for the eye). Also contains a stitching guide, a stitch library and full-size templates. Scissors, hoops and black/ivory sewing thread not provided.
We are expecting more stock soon.
