We now have the latest volume in this series from the Embroiderer’s Guild Animals, which has just been published and follows the same format as the existing two books. Embroidered Treasures is a series of books showcasing the Embroiderer’s Guild’s huge collection of embroideries through the ages. Featuring photographs taken especially for each volume, shown in full along with detail images showing the beauty and intricacy of the work. Two volumes are Birds and Flowers both illustrate the breadth of the collection, written by Dr Annette Collinge, who is a life member of the Embroiderer’s Guild and has been a Branch and Regional Chair and a Trustee.
