Please note that this is an online class, taken from home. This class will run online on Tuesday 29 September from 6pm-8pm UK BST.

Bookings for this class will close on Friday 11 September for customers in North America to allow for the kit to be posted out in time for the class.

For customers in UK and Europe who wish to take this class, bookings will close on Friday 18 September.

Please note that the cost includes the necessary kit but does not include shipping, which will be added automatically at the checkout.

Inspired by the topiary in Hampton Court Palace's gardens, this topiary ball in a slate planter gives you the opportunity to try five commonly used Canvaswork stitches: Tent Stitch, Norwich Stitch, Cross Stitch, Bullion Knots and a Woven Wheel.  The motif introduces you to combining counted stitches with Surface Stitches in order to create texture and perspective in Canvaswork.  Due to combining Canvaswork and Surface Stitches the design is worked on Aida rather than canvas.

Kit includes fabric, instructions, crewel wool and needles.

There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions and in advance of the class all preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.

The class kit will be posted out to you. The kit includes all the materials you require to complete the project. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes and a pair of embroidery scissors  and a 6" hoop will be needed.
