For the Rest of the World bookings will close on Monday 5 October to allow for the kit to be posted out in time for the class.

For customers in UK and Europe who wish to take this class, bookings will close on Friday 9 October.

Please note that the cost includes the necessary kit but does not include shipping, which will be added automatically at the checkout.

This 2 hour evening class Canvaswork design was inspired by the topiary in Hampton Court Palace’s gardens. A box ball in a slate planter with a pop of colour from the autumnal red berries.

The class is suitable for stitchers of all levels, including beginners and is particularly suited to Cross Stitchers who want to expand into Surface Embroidery.

This class gives you the opportunity to try six commonly used Canvaswork stitches: Tent Stitch, Norwich Stitch, Cross Stitch, Bullion Knots, Woven Wheel and French Knots. It will also give you three different types of thread to work with: Stranded Cotton, Crewel Wool and a gorgeous hand dyed variegated Perle from Oliver Twists.

The variety of threads will introduce you to the textures and 3D effects you can achieve with Canvaswork.

Kit includes fabric, instructions, crewel wool and needles.

There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions and in advance of the class all preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.

The class kit will be posted out to you. The kit includes all the materials you require to complete the project. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes and a pair of embroidery scissors  and a 6" hoop will be needed.

Attendees Outside the UK
This class will run from 6pm to 8pm (18:00 to 20:00 hours) UK local time on each day. If you are outside of the UK please check your local time, particularly if your location changes to/from Daylight Savings Time on a different schedule to the UK during October/November and March/April.
