Please note that the cost includes the necessary kit but does not include shipping, which will be added automatically at the checkout.

Create a small box with a separate lid and drawer. Once you have completed the Basic Box Making class, you will be ready for this one. You will cut your own pieces of card, following instruction and with set measurements. You will then learn how to construct the drawer and box. The final class in the series (Part 3) will involve working out measurements.

The tutor will demonstrate to the group, and also give plenty of individual attention to each student allowing you to develop your embroidery skills.

Students will need their own:
Card (we recommend Daler Rowney Graduate mount board which is readily available)
Sharp Stanley knife or similar or strong scalpel/craft knife (with new blade)
Cutting board
Steel ruler (with metric measurements)
Paper, embroidery and sharp fabric scissors
Strong double sided sticky tape (we recommend the ones with red plastic backing
Two or more good quality cotton quilting fabrics or lawn (one for the inside, one for the outside, more if desired) approximately half metre of each
Matching polyester sewing thread for each fabric
Magic tape or masking tape
