The inspiration for your ’View through my Window’ project can come from a photo you took during lockdown, a photo taken at any time during 2020 from your window, or it can be of an imaginary view you wish you could see from your window.  Your window frame can be any shape, however, it will be a small project worked in an 8" embroidery hoop. This course is aimed at the embroiderer who wants to create their own small simple project as well as learn some basic Appliqué techniques.  During this course of four three hour evening classes you will learn how to design your own project, plan and then stitch your design.

Throughout this series of ‘Introductory to Appliqué classes you will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and enjoy yourself working on your individual design. During each class you will be able to discuss your specific project requirements with the tutor. No kit is provided as Anita wants to encourage you to produce a truly individual piece of work using your own fabrics and threads. However, this is an online course so it will be up to each student to have their own material and equipment readily to hand during class.  Therefore, please take a moment to read through each material and equipment list below to make sure you have access to all items. If you are unable to get any of the items listed, please make Anita aware of this when you have your one to one session during Class 1.
