Please note that the cost includes the necessary kit but does not include shipping, which will be added automatically at the checkout.

Join RSN Tutor Amy Burt over 2 evenings to explore the basic, and yet complex world of Long & Short Stitch. Students will work small 3 x 3 cm boxes allowing them to focus on the stitch rather than the design. Students will have time between each class to complete their samples.

Week 1 will focus on Split Stitch and Tapestry Shading and in Week 2 the emphasis will be on Angled Shading and Natural shading.

There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions and in advance of the class all preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.

Your Zoom link will be sent a minimum of 48 hours prior to the class and will be sent to the email address you booked the class with. If you do not receive it, check your junk mail to see if it is there and if you still do not have it then please email [email protected]oyal-needlework.org.uk

The class kit will be posted out to you. The kit includes all the materials you require to complete the project. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes and a pair of embroidery scissors. You will also need a 6" or 8" ring frame.
