Inspired by the colours of autumn, this traditional Jacobean leaf is a great introduction to Jacobean Crewelwork embroidery. Suitable for beginners, this stylish design is created using only a few surface stitches including Chain, Buttonhole and Fly Stitch topped off with French Knots. Not only will you be guided through each of the stitches, but you will also be taught some simple yet effective variations including Closed and Open Fly and Buttonhole Stitch
.
This leaf is the first in a series of kits, each designed to introduce you to a different embroidery technique.

No prior experience is necessary for this class and there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.

Your Zoom link will be sent a minimum of 48 hours prior to the class and will be sent to the email address you booked the class with. If you do not receive it, check your junk mail to see if it is there and if you still do not have it then please email [email protected]

The class kit will be posted out to you. The kit includes all the materials you require to complete the project. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes and a pair of embroidery scissors. You will also need an 6" ring frame.
