A range of embroidery classes for all levels and techniques
« Day Classes
Please note that this is an online class, taken from home. Please click here to view important joining information about online classes.
This class will run from 2pm-5pm on Monday 4 April 2022 and from 2pm-4pm on Monday 11 & 25 April.
Bookings for this class will close on Wednesday 30 March 2022.
Many students ask how to finish their embroideries so they look the best they can. A beautifully mounted piece will ensure that the embroidery looks smooth and flat showing off all the hard work that has gone into producing it. This method will also help to preserve your embroidery for many years to come.
Over three sessions you will be guided step-by-step through the process of how to neatly mount a piece of your finished embroidery onto board using traditional conservation techniques. Each step will be demonstrated allowing time for you to practice and work each of the different processes yourself.
The Tutor will guide and support you to ensure that you gain a thorough understanding of what is involved in the mounting process.
There is no kit for this class and a suggested materials list to gather prior to the start will be sent out.
Your Zoom link will be sent a minimum of 48 hours prior to the class and will be sent to the email address you booked the class with. If you do not receive it, check your junk mail to see if it is there and if you still do not have it then please email [email protected]
