Join us for a few hours of beautiful button making inspired by the home of Jane Austen and the stunning Chawton Cottage Rose with its glorious pearly pink petals surrounding a ruby centre.
During the class you will have the opportunity to create your own pair of Regency inspired buttons with the Chawton Cottage Rose taking centre stage and brought to life as a Bullion Knot Rose. As well as mastering Bullion Knot Roses you will also use other stitches including Trellis and Detached Chain Stitch to further enhance your buttons. This course is ideal for the confident beginner or someone who has some stitch experience.
There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions and in advance of the class all preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.
Your Zoom link will be sent a minimum of 48 hours prior to the class and will be sent to the email address you booked the class with. If you do not receive it, check your junk mail to see if it is there and if you still do not have it then please email [email protected]
The class kit will be posted out to you. The kit includes all the materials you require to complete the project. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes and a pair of embroidery scissors and an 8″ hoop will be needed.
