The hugely popular and essential RSN Stitch Guides are now gradually being re-issued in a larger format paperback edition. The first three titles are now available from the RSN.
Crewelwork by Jacqui McDonald, Stumpwork by Kate Sinton and Whitework by Lizzy Lansberry (now Pye), all contain 96 pages and 400 colour illustrations with a soft binding that allows the book to stay open whilst in use.
Each title contains detailed step-by-step guidance on stitches for the relevant technique, showing both traditional and contemporary examples of work. There is information on materials, equipment, design and the history of each technique.
All of the authors are graduates from the RSN Apprentice Training Scheme, which has now been superseded by the Future Tutor Programme
