Easily accessed via Zoom, our Talk will reveal how embroidery has adorned and embellished fashionable dress for centuries. You'll discover how these objects demonstrate a lived experience of the past and how they can be used and preserved for generations to come. From needlework studios to bedroom stitchers, Amy will discuss how embroidery has been used to create the 'self' through fashion throughout the ages.
