Suitable for all levels of stitcher this pretty design is made up of stylised leaves, roses, tulips and forget-me-nots, the perfect summer stitching project.
Working with DMC stranded cotton threads on a linen ground fabric we will use many popular surface stitches and as the design is symmetrical there will be plenty of chance to practise them.
We will begin by concentrating on the filling stitches and will cover trellis, closed-fly, van dyke, satin, long and short stitch, buttonhole and seeding.
Then we will move on to adding outlines in stem, chain and whipped back stitches.
Your kit comes with everything you need for the class but you will need to provide embroidery scissors and an 8 or 10 inch embroidery hoop.
