The ‘HCP Sampler’ is designed by RSN Studio Embroiderer Masako Newton, and Masako and RSN Tutor Nao Nagamura are teaching this class. During this one-day class, you will enjoy surface embroidery, using stranded cotton, Japanese gold thread, chenille thread, spangles and beads.
The class is suitable for all levels of ability, and you will learn some basic embroidery stitches, such as Couching, Split Stitch, Long and Short Stitch and French Knots.
The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You might like to bring your own 10” ring frame and embroidery scissors. If needed, you will be able to borrow ring frames and magnifiers on the day.
