We were delighted to welcome Daniel Lismore to the RSN.  Daniel is an artist, designer, celebrity stylist, writer and campaigner.  He started his career as a photographer before moving in front of the lens and becoming a model.  He is known for living his life as art, combining haute couture with vintage fabrics, found objects, ethnic jewellery, millinery and not forgetting tons of creative energy! Daniel is also a global ambassador for Graduate Fashion Week.

Daniel gave an inspirational talk about his life journey so far, from being a 16 year old at school to how his career continues to develop.  Our Degree Students were thrilled to hear his story and share their current embroidery projects with him.

Daniel told them: “I am inspired by colour, texture, shape.  Embroidery is this ongoing culture – it is art work – and it is important to be individual with your work.”
