Day Classes coming up in May

Join the RSN this May – we have a few last minute spaces in our summer-inspired classes across the UK. Click on the images to find out more. We hope to see you soon!
14 May: Crewelwork Flower: Blueflower, RSN Rugby A perfect day class for beginners. Learn a dozen techniques and stitches, practiced into this beautiful contemporary design. This class will teach you the necessary skills to finish the piece at home.
15 May: Design & Stitch: Mountmellick, Hampton Court Palace Mountmellick is worked in white cotton thread upon a heavy white cotton fabric and is often used on household items. In this two day class you will earn how to produce your own Mountmellick design, creating a stitch plan and how to transfer your designs to fabric.
20 May: Introduction to Blackwork, RSN RugbyBlackwork is a historical technique that has evolved into a form of tonal stitching. This introduction class will teach you how to work simple patterns an shading, applied to a beautiful whale tale design.
20 May: Goldwork & Bead Embroidery: Snail, Hampton Court Palace Add some sparkle to your embroidery in this two day Goldwork and Bead class. Working with a stunning snail design, you will learn a variety of embellishment and goldwork techniques.
27 May: Introduction to Silk Shading: Rose, RSN Bristol Explore the basics in Silk Shading with this one day class. You will learn split stitch, long and short stitches using stranded cotton to create a beautiful English rose design.
