If you are interested in finding out more about our Degree in Hand Embroidery, you can find out more on our website.  Here are a couple of tips from two of our winning graduates.

Graduate Jessica Vale who won the Award for Technical Stitch, gave the following advice to all future students:  “A Degree helps you develop so if you don’t feel confident in an area, that’s good!  It’s impossible to be good at everything and it just means that you’ll find different ways to grow and become a far more unique and original artist or designer.”

Graduate Jasmine Fone received the Award for Stitch Innovation, said: “My advice to future students thinking about doing the RSN Degree is ‘Don’t be put off if you feel you don’t have enough embroidery experience. GO FOT IT!’ I came in with a small amount of embroidery knowledge but a huge interest for learning and trying new things.  Over the three years you will have amazing opportunities and receive teaching to push you to be your best, so make the most of it!”

You can view all our graduated third year students’ work here and also read about their inspiration behind their designs.
