As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are launching a new book called ‘An Unbroken Thread: Celebrating 150 Years of the Royal School of Needlework’. The book is written by RSN Chief Executive, Dr Susan Kay-Williams, and is a richly illustrated book telling our history, from its founding in 1872 to the present day. It comprises numerous historical pictures and documents, showing our evolution as fashions changed as well as our association with everyone from society ladies and theatre impresarios in the late 19th century to working with great fashion designers in the 21st.
