Gemma graduated from the RSN Apprenticeship in 2004. After completing her training, she worked in costume for theatre and TV including wardrobe assistant for English National Ballet.

She returned to the RSN Embroidery Studio in 2013 and is now Studio Manager.

Gemma will be teaching a beautiful vintage lace pin cushion  at the King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace in May to celebrate the exhibition, Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography.

When creating her design, Gemma was inspired by the applique lace work she and our professional studio embroiderers applied to the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress and veil in 2011.
