Jacqui McDonald comes from a background in Conservation and Restoration, and spent seven years with the National Trust.

Having been inspired by the textiles in her care, she joined the RSN’s Apprenticeship in 2002. Jacqui works freelance from her studio in Hampshire, producing designs and kits, taking on small textile restoration projects and new commissions, as well as teaching the Certificate & Diploma in Technical Hand Embroidery at Hampton Court Palace.

Jacqui is the author of the RSN Essential Stitch Guide – Crewelwork, and currently teaches Technical Tuesday Crewelwork online to students all over the world. Jacqui is currently working on the much anticipated and soon to be released RSN Stitch Bank.
