The Certificate in Technical Hand Embroidery is run in intensive sessions during July and August at Hampton Court Palace. The sessions focus on the four core techniques: study Jacobean Crewelwork, Blackwork or Canvas Stitches,  Goldwork and Silk Shading.  As well as two slots now for Diploma which have newly been released. Over twelve days students complete one of these modules; the modules can be taken as a standalone course or together (Jacobean Crewelwork must be completed first).

The Summer Intensives are very popular with our students from abroad or for those who work full-time but who are able to devote two weeks each year to working on one technique.

We also offer the intensive Certificate & Diploma course in Fredericksburg, VA, every Spring and Autumn.
