Bradford Textiles Design Competition
The RSN Degree team encourage students to submit applications for a number of competitions and sponsorship opportunities during the three-year course and we love to celebrate our Students’ and Graduates’ success stories, as we are so proud of their achievements.
The annual Bradford Textiles Design Competition is run by The Bradford Textile Society, which attracts almost 1,000 entries from students throughout the UK. ‘The LAPA Charitable Trust Award’ category is an award for an embroidered textile design for fashion/accessories or interiors products, created using hand embroidery techniques. This year, our 2nd year Degree students swept the board, not only winning 1st place but also 2nd, 3rd and a Certificate of Commendation!
1st Prize – Freya Stanford, with ‘Panellus’
2nd Prize – Jenna Riddell, with ‘Ne-10’
3rd Prize – Eliza Burt, with ‘Pouvoir des Fleurs’
Certificate of Commendation – Anfaal Hussain, with ‘Paresidium’
