New Starters: Your Jacobean starter kit will be waiting for you when you arrive with everything you need to get started, including your 24″ or 18″ slate frame.

Returning Students: Don’t forget to bring your slate frame, or alternatively, you can purchase one from the RSN Online Shop.

If driving it is advisable to use a Sat Nav or check the location beforehand as The Arnold House is at the end of a residential street and can be tricky to find. There is free parking at the venue.  Alternatively, it is a 10 minute walk from the train station. Click here to visit The Arnold House website for further information about the venue.

Schedule

The teaching day is from 10.00am – 4.00pm. Please arrive by 9.45am to ensure a prompt 10.00am start. Lunchtime is from 1.00pm to 2.00pm.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided in the morning. It is recommended to have a break and stretch your legs and we advise students not to work through their lunch breaks.

We recommend that you bring lunch with you.  The Arnold House is located in the centre of Rugby and there are plenty of local cafes and supermarkets if you need to buy lunch.

No food or drink is permitted in the classrooms.

Equipment

New Starters: The starter kit for the Jacobean module will be waiting for you when you arrive at the class. You may like to bring a sewing kit with fine embroidery scissors. A notebook and pencil will be useful. You are welcome to bring any lights and or magnifiers that you use.
