A general sewing kit including scissors, a notebook, tape measure and small ruler is always useful but not essential.
If you require a light or magnifier, please bring this with you or alternatively these will be available with a refundable deposit.
Assessment Process
Our assessment process is carried out upon completion of each of your embroidery techniques. This is done three times a year during the Easter, Summer and Christmas breaks. Completed pieces of work must be submitted with all associated paperwork including stitch plans, tonal drawings, design source, original photographs and any other relevant paperwork you feel will help the Assessor understand your choices. Please keep these documents safe in your student folder throughout your tuition and your piece must be clearly named including the paperwork.
Please note: Failure to include all relevant paperwork could result in loss of marks and possible postponement until the next planned Assessment.
