This summer we will be celebrating the heritage of the Royal School of Needlework and its unique historic embroidery and textile collections with a carefully curated online Summer Series of classes during July and a dedicated in-person Summer School at Hampton Court Palace in August. Delving into the school’s Collection and Archive, our world-renowned Tutors have created a series of classes that engage with different techniques and collections pieces. Some of the Collection and Archive-inspired classes will also give an opportunity to see these pieces in person and to learn more about them from our Curators.

A Summer of Stitch!
This year, we are running a dedicated Summer School Programme in-person at Hampton Court Palace, UK, along with a special online Summer Series of classes via Zoom:
In-person classes at Hampton Court Palace, London, UK — from Saturday 16 August to Sunday 31 August 2025.
Online classes via Zoom — from Monday 1 July to Thursday 31 July 2025.
Classes will range from one to five days, consisting of a varying number of teaching hours per day. For online classes, there will be separate sessions scheduled to suit different International time zones.
