22nd July, 2019

Congratulations to Royal School of Needlework Degree Graduate Abigail Frusher who has her own exhibition in Norfolk! Abigail, who graduated in July 2018, will showcase her solo exhibition at West Acre Gallery from 25 – 31 August.

The exhibition will feature Abigail’s body of contemporary work which has been inspired by the north Norfolk coastline.

Abigail commented: “I was captivated by textile sculpture and found the tactile surfaces very engaging, so I specialised in embroidering sculptural felt forms that I hand made. My work is inspired and informed by geology, time and the evolution of creatures and the earth. The forms that influence my work come from sea urchins and mollusc like creatures.”

The exhibition is open daily 10am – 5pm.
