Before coming to the Royal School of Needlework, Jessica completed a BTec in Theatrical Costume, graduating with Distinction in 2014. From there she worked as a Costume Assistant in the entertainment industry for several years.
Jessica has always had a passion for history and an interest in traditional crafts, especially hand embroidery, and in 2017 joined the Future Tutors Programme at the RSN. During the course she had the opportunity to teach workshops at The Knitting & Stitching Show in London, as well as Family Stitch Workshops at the RSN. She also assisted in class during the Certificate & Diploma Summer Intensives and on the RSN Degree Programme.
She was honoured to receive the RSN Broderers’ Award for Top Student when she graduated in August 2020, and since graduating Jessica has been teaching Online Day & Evening Classes for the RSN and is looking forward to teaching on the International Summer School in July 2021.
