Before coming to the Royal School of Needlework, Jessica completed a BTec in Theatrical Costume, graduating with Distinction in 2014. From there she worked as a Costume Assistant in the entertainment industry for several years.
Jessica has always had a passion for history and an interest in traditional crafts, especially hand embroidery, and in 2017 joined the Future Tutor Programme at the RSN. During the course she has had the opportunity to teach workshops at the Knitting and Stitching show in Alexandra Palace, as well as assisting in class, during the Summer Intensives programme. She was honoured to win the RSN Award for Technical Excellence in her first and second year and will be graduating from the Future Tutor Programme in July 2020.
