Rachel is the author of the RSN Essential Stitch Guide – Canvaswork. Rachel teaches RSN Day Classes as well as teaching on the RSN Certificate & Diploma and working as an embroiderer in the RSN Studio.

After she gained a degree in Textiles she completed the RSN Apprenticeship, teaching for the RSN in both the UK and the United States as well as on our Summer Intensive Programme.

She has worked on a variety of commissions in the RSN Studio, including bespoke pieces for Savoir Beds and has taught Bespoke Classes for the RSN around the UK.

In 2023, Rachel was honoured to be part of the Embroidery Studio team at the Royal School of Needlework who worked on a number of items for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, including The Queen’s Robe of Estate, Chairs of Estate and the Stole Royal.
