Sarah de Rousset-Hall

Graduating from the RSN’s Future Tutors programme in July 2020, Sarah has spent three years learning the art of hand embroidery to the highest standard.   During her Future Tutors course, Sarah also worked on the hand embroidered textile for The Duchess of Cambridge’s ‘Back to Nature’ garden at the 2019 RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival.

Sarah has assisted teaching on RSN Day Classes, Family Stitch workshops and on the BA (Hons) Hand Embroidery. She most recently assisted on the Summer Intensive Certificate & Diploma programme at Hampton Court Palace. Externally, she has taught Learning Curves at The Knitting & Stitching Shows. She will be teaching at the 2020 USA Summer School in Lexington, Kentucky.

Some of Sarah’s pieces have been exhibited at The Knitting & Stitching Shows and at the RSN exhibitions at Hampton Court Palace. She was a finalist in two categories of the 2019 National Needlecraft Awards with her Blackwork portrait of David Bowie.
