ONL26009 Forget-Me-Not Silk Postcard

This class is inspired by the beautiful embroidered cards sent by soldiers to their sweethearts during the First WorldWar. These cards often took the form of an envelope that contained a little message.
Our design will be worked on silk organza using satin, stem and back stitches in Deveres silk floss threads. Then the embroidery will be carefully cut out and mounted into a bespoke aperture card. A tiny note card is included for you to add your own message.
Your kit comes with everything you ned for the class but you will need to provide sharp embroidery scissors, a laying tool and an 8 inch embroidery hoop. Equipment list and prep work: Students will need an 8 inch embroidery hoop, bound if possible, amd embroidery scissors. THey will also need a very small paint brush and PVA glue.
