The RSN Embroidery Studio has produced a series of 15 kits - one for each of the 15 decades since the founding of the Royal School of Needlework. The kit designs are taken from our archives and have been developed in a range of techniques and levels for embroiderers to enjoy and learn.

A Partridge in a Pear Tree 1980's

This stylised and dynamic design from the Royal School of Needlework archives was originally designed for a canvas stool top in 1980's. The studio has reworked the design for this kit using appliqué and metal thread embroidery.

THIS KIT CONTAINS:
Pale Blue Linen background fabric
Calico backing
Bondaweb
8 colours of silk fabric
Gold leather
Yellow felt
White felt
10 skeins os DMC thread
10 Gutterman threads
Instruction booklet
You will also need a slate frame or roller frame (minimum 18-inch) and embroidery scissors

This kit measures approx  29 x 30cm
