As the Autumn sun bathes our late flowering stems with its golden rays there is no time to mourn the passing of summer, but revel in the glorious golden tones of Autumn. Envelope yourself in the structural beauty of Chrysanthemum, Rudbeckia, Fern, Honesty and Birch over this five day masterclass.
Over our week’s exploration of the lost art of Venetian Glass Flower Art, better known as French Beading, we will experiment with structure and tone within our designs.
Tutor, Holly Parr, will lead this masterclass, offering demonstrations and careful one to one support
throughout. With taught patterns being provided for your future use. This course is suitable for all levels and is the perfect opportunity to escape reality and get lost in the therapeutic process.
Working with glass beads and wire you will be amazed by how ethereal your finished bloom appears. Despite being solid, sculptural creation these glass beaded flowers appear soft and delicate, transforming under differing lighting states.
By the end of the course your completed wreath will be a radiant crown, worthy of Hampton Court Palace.
