In this class we will make a beautiful goldwork star decoration for your
Christmas tree inspired by the motifs on the symbolic halo worn by the
Patron Saint of Embroidery, St. Clare, in my Signature Piece “The Tears of
Saint Clare”. The star is created using a needle-felted wool base
(provided), which we will cover with a layer of sparkly gold metal
“chippings” and embellish with pair of gold plated tapestry needles for a
special needlework twist! Finally, a loop will be added to the finished piece
enabling it to be hung from the tree or even worn as a piece of jewellery.
