You will:
ยท Craft the Nigella flower petals using a mix of thread colours with chain stitch and French knots, then add intricate spangle and rough purl details.
ยท Use long freehand stitches to create the fine leaves of the Nigella flower.
ยท Design your initial with pearl purl, employing bricked back stitch shading to add depth and dimension.
ยท Learn box construction, including cutting, covering, connecting the panels with a curved needle and mounting your embroidery on the box lid.
This beginnerโs class will guide you through each step, ensuring you gain confidence in your stitching and box-making skills. By the end of the class, you'll have a beautifully embroidered Nigella flower and Goldwork initial proudly displayed on a handcrafted box.
