New in Traditional Tulip Wood slate frame, handmade for the RSN in England.

A lighter weight than our best selling Beech Wood Slate Frame these frames are also Available in two sizes, 18" (appx' 45cms) and 24" (61cms) this equates to the length of cotton herringbone tape for attaching your work to the rollers. The actual lengths of the rollers are 67cms and 81cms respectively, the arms are the same lengths and have a 19cms adjustment at either end to allow for different widths of your fabric. The frame is held in place with split pins and the tension of your work when it is fully attached to the frame. These frames are made from solid tulip wood  wood and weigh 1.3kg and 1.7kg.

May be used with the Tulip Wood Trestles also made by the RSN.

  • White, green and sometimes purple streaks in the wood
  • Light weight, strong
  • 13 adjustment holes per end
  • 4 split pins provided
