In this Introduction to Embroidery kit, you will use a variety of embroidery stitches to create a spring wreath, you can add an initial of your choosing if you wish, making it perfect to give as a gift or keep for yourself. The wreath is worked on calico using stranded cotton with size 5 and 8 embroidery needles making it a perfect choice for beginners.
You will learn the following embroidery stitches:
- French and bullion knots
- Detached and heavy chain
- Woven wheel
- stem and back stitch
- Fishbone stitch
- Closed fly stitch.
The kit will contain a preselected variety of colour options to choose from as well as a design template so you can stitch more with the confidence gained during the class.
includes 1 printed piece of calico, 1 4" wooden hoop, 1 pack of embroidery no. 5 and 8 needles, 12 Skeins of DMC thread and `1 skein of Gutterman extra strong thread and instructions with diagrams.
Warning: Not suitable for small children, kit contains sharp objects.
