ONL26026 Ginko Leaf: Or Nue
£159.00
In this class, you will explore the elegant technique of Or Nué, working with Japanese and seven shades of green thread to create a stunning design inspired by nature.
This workshop is suitable for stitchers of all levels, from beginners to those with more experience. While some prior embroidery experience is helpful, it’s not essential.
The design is inspired by the graceful leaves of a local Ginkgo tree near Salisbury Cathedral, a form that holds personal significance as one of my mother’s favourite leaf shapes. She often recreated these leaves in her silver clay jewellery, adding a special layer of meaning to this project.
By the end of the class, you’ll have mastered key Or Nué techniques while creating a timeless and meaningful piece of embroidery to treasure.
You can explore many more stitches in the RSN Stitch Bank.
