Hardanger is a whitework technique, originating from the Hardanger area of Norway.  This bookmark is a lovely introduction to the technique. It employs a mix of Kloster Blocks, Satin Stitch, Eyelets, Buttonhole Stitch, fabric cutting and needleweaving using different perle threads in white on the traditional white Hardanger fabric in 22hpi.

Your kit includes everything you need including a full colour, step by step instruction booklet. The only things you’ll need are an 8” ring frame,  and embroidery scissors.

It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
