It’s five years since the first RSN online Zoom event – and the pilot was a drawing class, led by our popular drawing teacher Caroline Homfray. Hundreds of people have taken these courses and even more have studied
with us in online embroidery classes since 2020 and we’d like to celebrate!
Join us for a worldwide online drawing event led by Caroline on 6th May 2025. Get your pencils ready for this hands-on and fun short session, with warm-up doodles, quick drawing exercises and then create a repeat pattern using negative space.
We’re hoping lots of people will join us and do some drawing!
You’ll need:
• drawing paper
• Graphite pencils
• Coloured media (pencils)
• Erasers.
• Tracing paper
• Something to draw circles with (compass)
• Scissors, or craft knife and mat, with your L-shapes
• gluestick.
• …. and something to draw! Flowers, vases, vegetables, ornaments..
