Created for the Royal School of Needlework, this beautiful embroidery kit complete with unique frame and stand is one of two designs by Royal Chou, inspired by details from a striking piece of Su embroidery in the RSN textile collection.
The original embroidery was generously donated by Royal Chou and is admired for its exceptional craftsmanship and exquisite use of traditional techniques. A particular highlight is the Long and Short Stitch, worked using the distinctive Su embroidery method. While different from the traditional English approach, both techniques require great skill and achieve equally beautiful results.
This kit celebrates the rich heritage of embroidery and helps preserve these valuable skills for future generations. Suitable for embroiderers who enjoy learning new techniques and exploring embroidery traditions from around the world, it offers a rewarding and elegant stitching experience.
