About Hattie McGill

Based in a little studio in her cottage in Hertfordshire (often accompanied by her Border Terrier Rigby), Hattie creates intricate hand embroidered accessories and embroidery kits. Specialising in the fascinating technique of Goldwork embroidery, Hattie aims to make embroidery accessible to all by using traditional heirloom techniques for modern pieces. Having trained at the Royal School of Needlework, Hattie has a deep passion for her craft, which began at the age of three, with a project for her Mother on Mother’s day. Since then she has been hooked on embroidery. Hattie currently splits her time between her business and embroidery for costume in the Film and TV industry.
