Celebrate the glory of summer with this introduction to Goldwork embroidery. Bring life to your leaf by learning how to combine basic
padding with eye-catching threads to play with light and texture.
Suitable for newcomers to Goldwork, these classes provide an
opportunity for you to discover how to work with several different gold
threads, including japanese, twist, pearl purl, wire and bright check.
This leaf is the fourth in a series of kits, each designed to introduce you
to a different embroidery technique.
Some prior embroidery experience is recommended for this class and
there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor
questions.
The kit will include all the materials required. However, for the class you
will also need a 6” embroidery hoop and a pair of scissors.
