15 DECADES OF EMBROIDERY
The RSN Embroidery Studio has produced a series of 15 kits – one for each of the 15 decades since the founding of the Royal School of Needlework. The kit designs are taken from our archives and have been developed in a range of techniques and levels for embroiderers to enjoy and learn.
Create an equisite Embroidered Sewing Roll inspired by Stumpwork Motifs.
Stumpwork continues to be a popular subject at the RSN and taught on courses of all levels.
A number of traditional motifs from the RSN Collection have been used to decorate this portable sewing kit or a ‘hussif’ as they were known in the 18th century.
