Learn how to create three-dimensional forms using raised work embroidery techniques. In this class, you will construct individual petal shapes before assembling them into a sculptural flower, exploring how embroidery can move beyond the surface of the fabric.
Alongside the raised work elements, you will learn a range of contemporary goldwork techniques including goldwork loops for texture and dimension, as well as the application of spangles and pearls to add detail and light to the finished piece.
All materials required to complete the design will be provided.
