This contemporary design combines some of the basic Crewelwork stitches with some simple Goldwork stitches and is a good place to discover how they complement each other perfectly.
The Crewelwork stitches included are Chain Stitch, Woven Wheels, Vandyke, French knots, Bullion Knots and Seeding. The two main Goldwork techniques of Couching and Cut Work are covered during this one day class and will use gold threads such as Pearl Purl, Passing, Rococco and Bright Check Purl.
Each stitch will be demonstrated and you will have time to practice before moving onto to the next. This will ensure that you will be able to complete the design at home.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
