This apple embroidery project was inspired by and designed as part of my Goldwork kit, The Golden Pear.
In this class, you’ll stitch a small apple using essential Goldwork techniques.
Kid leather is used to create the fruit and green colour silk fabric is used to create the three-dimensional leaves.
Students will learn the technique of stuffing felt onto soft cream-coloured linen, how to stitch the kid leather and how to apply the two by stitching onto silk fabric using pearl purl, and how to embroider the stem with s-ing.
