This class will run from 1pm - 4pm on Wednesday 28 February and from 2pm-4pm  on Wednesday 6 & 13 March 2024.

Bookings for this class will close on Tuesday 27 February

Many students ask how to finish their embroideries so they look the best they can. A beautifully mounted piece will ensure that the embroidery looks smooth and flat showing off all the hard work that has gone into producing it. This method will also help to preserve your embroidery for many years to come.

Over three sessions you will be guided step-by-step through the process of how to neatly mount a piece of your finished embroidery onto board using traditional conservation techniques. Each step will be demonstrated allowing time for you to practice and work each of the different processes yourself.

The Tutor will guide and support you to ensure that you gain a thorough understanding of what is involved in the mounting process.

There is no kit for this class and a suggested materials list to gather prior to the start will be sent out.

You can explore many more stitches on the RSN Stitch Bank.
