ONL25316 Introduction to Embroidery: ‘Crewelwork Seahorse NEW
£157.00
If you have always wanted to learn to stitch but don’t know where to begin, this is the class for you.
This is the second of three beginner hand embroidery design, where you will stitch a unique sampler, learn about fabrics, threads and the history behind the techniques.
The second class will be a sampler using three of the funky sherbet range Appleton wools on blue linen where you will learn seven surface stitches which you will then be able to use to stitch your own seahorse on a 10” hoop.
The stitches in this design are Feather Stitch, Buttonhole, Herringbone, Couching, Whipped and Woven Wheels and Pistol Stitch.
This class is for beginners and there will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions.
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes all the materials required to complete this design. The only only additional items you will need are a 10” hoop, a pair embroidery scissors and it would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
You can explore many more stitches on the RSN Stitch Bank.
