Working through the design step by step, you will learn pearl purl application, chipping, passing thread application and pearl embellishment while developing an understanding of how these techniques work together within a finished piece.
Throughout the course, you will learn the traditional order of work used in goldwork embroidery, building the design from the foundation layers through to the most delicate details. The class will also cover couture starting and finishing techniques, helping you achieve a neat and professional finish.
All materials required to complete the design will be provided.
