ONL26052 Art Nouveau Goldwork Florals
£285.00
Join us for an exploration of traditional goldwork embroidery techniques including pearl purl application, chipping, cut work and passing thread application. Inspired by the flowing lines of the Art Nouveau movement and the rich history of goldwork embroidery, this class offers the opportunity to develop your skills while creating a decorative stitched design.
Working with a range of metal threads and materials, you will learn how these traditional techniques can be combined to create texture, detail and contrast within your embroidery. Set within the historic surroundings of Hampton Court Palace, the class provides the perfect setting to explore one of embroidery's most enduring techniques.
